Corrections
A wrong date on an astrology page is not a matter of opinion: the ephemeris says where a graha was, and either the page agrees or it does not. When we find an error, or a reader reports one, we fix the page and record the change here, with what it said before and what it says now. Interpretation is a different matter, and where schools disagree, the article names the convention it follows.
To report an error, write to contact@aivedickundali.com with the page address and what you believe is wrong. How our pages are calculated is explained in the disclaimer and on the about page.
A full check of every 2026 date in our articles against the Swiss Ephemeris (sidereal, Lahiri, times in IST), and a review of claims that went further than the classical texts.
- Sade Sati 2026
Before: Shani retrograde from 29 June to 15 November 2026, and no change of sign until Shani enters Mesh in 2028.
Now: Retrograde from 27 July to 11 December 2026. Shani first enters Mesh on 3 June 2027, returns to Meen on 20 October 2027 and settles in Mesh on 23 February 2028; the page shows who that moves into and out of Sade Sati.
- Guru Gochar 2026
Before: Guru retrograde until early April, into Simha on 1 November, retrograde again at the end of December.
Now: Direct on 11 March, into Simha on 31 October, retrograde on 13 December 2026, back into Karkat on 25 January 2027.
- Guru in Karka 2026
Before: Three transit houses labelled "Guru Chandal", and verdicts that did not match the gochara rule used on the rest of the site.
Now: Guru Chandal is explained as Guru joined with Rahu only; every house follows the classical gochara rule; combustion ends on 13 August, not 12 August.
- Budh Vakri 2026
Before: Retrograde windows starting on 27 February, 30 June and 25 October, and ending on 14 November.
Now: Starting on 26 February, 29 June and 24 October and ending on 13 November, with exact IST times and a table for every rashi.
- Mangal Gochar 2026
Before: Seven sign-change dates a day late; Mangal in Vrishabh called an enemy sign and in Mithun a neutral one; a suggestion to time surgery by Mangal.
Now: Dates corrected; Vrishabh is neutral and Mithun an enemy sign for Mangal; the surgery suggestion is removed, because medical timing belongs with a doctor.
- Indu Lagna
Before: A remainder of 0 said to land on the Chandra’s own sign.
Now: A remainder of 0 means 12, which lands on the sign before the Chandra’s, with a worked example.
- Mangal Dosh
Before: Five dosha houses in the text and six in the chart caption, without saying why.
Now: The five-house rule and the six-house rule (which adds the 2nd) are both named; the age-28 belief is marked as a regional tradition, not a classical rule.
- Pitru Paksha 2026
Before: Pitru Paksha "always" falls with the Sun in Kanya.
Now: It is fixed by the lunar calendar and usually, not always, falls in the Sun’s month in Kanya.
- Rahu Gochar in Makar Rashi
Before: Rahu said to begin in the second half of Dhanishtha; eclipses said to fall exactly on the node axis.
Now: Rahu begins in the half of Dhanishtha that lies in Makar; an eclipse needs the Sun and Moon near a node, not exactly on it.
- Rahu Ketu Gochar 2026
Before: The nodes changing sign on 6 December 2026.
Now: On 5 December 2026 at 10:32 pm IST.
- Grahan 2026
Before: All four eclipses said to fall on the Kumbh and Simha axis.
Now: Three do; the 12 August eclipse falls in Karkat, about 11 degrees before Ketu, which the page now explains.
- Rahu and Ketu explained
Before: Eclipses said to happen only exactly at the nodes.
Now: Within roughly 18 degrees of a node for a solar eclipse and 12 for a lunar one.
- Kaal Sarp Dosh
Before: Claims that it is common in self-made people and fades with age.
Now: Removed. The page now says the yoga does not appear in the foundational texts and that schools disagree on it.
- Career in Kundli
Before: The chart shaded the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 10th houses while the text named the 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th.
Now: Chart and text agree on the 2nd, 6th, 10th and 11th.
- Navamsa (D9)
Before: The only chart shown was a birth chart (D1).
Now: A worked example turns that D1 into its D9 step by step, with the D9 chart.
- Conjunction pages
Before: Some house verdicts read "it gives Venus is the natural karaka..."; the Sun and Mars text implied the Sun is exalted in any sign Mars owns.
Now: The verdicts read as full sentences; the Sun and Mars text says the Sun’s exaltation sign, Mesh, belongs to Mars.
