What Mula nakshatra is
Mula is the 19th of the 27 nakshatras, the lunar mansions the Moon passes through as it circles the zodiac. Its name means “The root”, its symbol is the bunch of roots, tied lion’s tail, and its presiding deity is Nirriti (goddess of dissolution). In one line, Mula is about getting to the root and tearing out illusion.
