A Vedic birth chart — called a Kundali or Janma Patrika — is a snapshot of the sky at the precise moment and place of your birth. Vedic astrology (Jyotish) uses the sidereal zodiac, which tracks the actual positions of constellations rather than the seasons, making it about 23 degrees different from Western astrology.
