When Surya + Shani + Ketu (Sun + Saturn + Ketu) share a sign, a yuti, the chart fuses Sun’s the soul, authority and vital life-force, Saturn’s discipline, karma and hard-earned maturity and Ketu’s detachment, spirituality and liberation, and here all of it works through the 9th house (Dharma / Bhagya), the house of fortune, dharma, the father and higher wisdom (Trikona (trine); natural sign Sagittarius).

Sun, Saturn and Ketu in the 9th house: the reading
The Sun and Ketu are well placed in the 9th house and Saturn is strained there, so the Sun and Ketu lead the trio here. Inside the trio, Sun and Ketu do best here: Ketu with the Sun in the 9th house gives spiritual detachment, a father who is absent or spiritual, moksha inclination and fortune that the native does not chase. Sun and Saturn are the pair to watch: The enemies in the 9th house give a hard, delayed fortune, a father who is stern, absent or lost, and a serious, self-made philosophy.
When it works
- Fortune earned and lasting
- A tested, mature philosophy
- Spiritual dharma and pilgrimage
- Detachment from fortune
What needs care
- A stern or absent father
- Delayed fortune and doubt about faith
- An absent father
- Indifference to opportunity
