Vedic astrology has a clear method for reading marriage timing from a birth chart. It will not hand you an exact date, and any site that promises one from your date of birth alone is not doing real Jyotish. What a proper chart can show is the strength of your marriage prospects and the windows when marriage is most likely to happen.

First, what marriage timing is not
Marriage timing is not the same as Mangal Dosha. Mangal Dosha is about compatibility and friction from Mangal (Mars). An astrologer checks which sign sits on it, which planets occupy it, which planets aspect it, and above all where its lord (the ruler of that sign) has gone in the chart. A strong, well placed 7th lord supports marriage. A 7th lord that is weak, combust, or stuck in a difficult house often points to obstacles or delay.
2. The marriage karakas, Shukra (Venus) and Guru (Jupiter)
