Sun and Ketu in the 7th house at a glance
When Surya + Ketu (Sun + Ketu) share a sign, a yuti, the chart fuses Sun’s the soul, authority and vital life-force and Ketu’s detachment, spirituality and liberation, and here all of it works through the 7th house (Yuvati / Kalatra), the house of marriage, the spouse, partnerships and one-to-one relationships (Kendra (angular), Maraka; natural sign Libra).
Each graha in the 7th house
Surya (Sun) in the 7th houseMalefic
Honestly a challenging seat for relationships: the Sun sits near its debilitation zone, so ego clashes, dominance over the spouse and delays or friction in marriage and partnership are common.
Ketu (Ketu) in the 7th houseMalefic
A genuinely testing seat, said plainly: detachment in marriage, a risk of distance or separation and a spiritual or unusual spouse; relationships feel karmic and elusive.
Where each is strong or weak by sign:
| Graha | Nature | Own sign | Exalted (uchcha) | Debilitated (neecha) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Surya (Sun) | Malefic | Leo | Aries | Libra |
| Ketu (Ketu) | Malefic | None (chhaya graha) | Scorpio | Taurus |

When these results appear
Ketu mahadasha with Sun antardasha is the sharpest window (dasha years: Ketu 7, Sun 6).
A node beside a luminary is the chart’s own eclipse, a grahan yoga: how Rahu and Ketu swallow the light.
A 7th-house yuti is one layer of a marriage reading; the Navamsa is the next, worked from D1 to D9.
