Sun, Mars and Mercury in the 2nd house: the reading
Mercury is well placed in the 2nd house, the Sun gives mixed results there and Mars is strained there, so Mercury leads the trio here. Inside the trio, Sun and Mercury do best here: Budhaditya Yoga in the 2nd house is a wealth yoga for those who earn by speech, writing, accounts, trade or administration. Sun and Mars are the pair to watch: Fire in the 2nd house brings money through courage, engineering, defence, property or government, spent as fast as it is earned, and speech that is forceful to the point of harshness.
When it works
- Earning through bold ventures and technical or official work
- A voice that commands attention
- Wealth through intellect, speech or commerce
- A respected, articulate position in the family
What needs care
- Harsh speech that splits the family
- Money spent in anger; injuries to the face or mouth
- Arrogance in speech when Mercury is combust
- Money lost to overconfidence in one's own reasoning
